What I do

Do you use scientific knowledge in one way or another? SmarterScience works for all sorts of parties who deal with scientific knowledge. It mainly concerns the following types of projects.

• Consultancy (scientific literature studies and the like). SmarterScience has access to a large number of databases with scientific knowledge, and patents.

  For my clients, I look into various topics, write reports and articles. That way help my clients achieve their goals. What makes my service unique is that my way of thinking is unique and I therefore am able to provide you with a benefit you will not be able to find somewhere else. • Science and technology writing. Think of snappy articles for engineering firms, aimed at a wide audience. More about snappy articles and other examples of writing activities.
• I have done a great deal of scientific editing and reviewing for university scientists. More about scientific editing of journal manuscripts.
• When SmarterScience was still based in The Netherlands, I also carried out graduate teaching services. More about graduate teaching services I provided.
• In addition, SmarterScience has carried out a variety of other science-related projects in conjunction with my business partners. Think of for example presentation skills seminars or the translation of highly scientific materials, such as patents or science books.

I originally modeled SmarterScience on the growing variety of tasks university scientists face every day. I offered them a smarter way to do science.

Nowadays, I am increasingly developing projects of my own (offering online and downloadable content and carrying out studies).
