Contacted several organizations about volunteering	Was usually told that someone would call me back. I gave up after someone at the SPCA told me on the phone that "it was not as if you would be allowed to handle money or drugs, you know". (foreigner dislike) I had wanted to volunteer in animal rehab (and hopefully use the experience I gained in the US).
