Physical addresses

Meetings
Southampton is unsuitable for meetings but is ideally situated - close to Europe with short, direct flights to Amsterdam and other cities in Europe. It is also at a stone's throw from London, Cambridge, Oxford and Bristol.

Postal address
SmarterScience is not English but is currently located in the United Kingdom:

P.O. Box 1418
Southampton
SO18 9AJ United Kingdom

Please do not send urgent or important mail to the P.O. Box address or by postal mail. Contact me about it. Also, if your material is essential for a project, I will probably decide to deduct your postage costs from the invoice.

Important: use a separate priority or airmail sticker
Please do note that when you do send postal mail from abroad and do not use a separate priority or airmail sticker - even if you do affix the appropriate postage - your mail generally take four to six weeks to reach me!!!

SmarterScience is a highly virtual modern network business, with partners all over the world. There is no fancy office building. My associates and I work from our individual business, university and home offices, as well as on-site. I therefore kindly ask suppliers and clients to contact me before you - for instance - courier materials to me.

Logo, colors and philosophy

Logo
SmarterScience used to be called Armadillo Research Services and that is where the logo comes from. (Her name is Mrs. Armadilla Sippi.) It is a nine-banded armadillo. This animal is just as unique and resourceful as SmarterScience and its owner. A remarkable survivor. Did you know that when things are rough and other species withdraw, the nine-banded armadillo - as a species - tends to expand its territory? And that nine-banded armadillos almost always have identical quadruplets?

Colors
The web site's colors reflect the sea (blue and green), the sun (orange), the sand (white or off-white) and nature (green). They are based on the colors of the Florida seashore.

Philosophy
To provide a unique combination of scientific knowledge and experience, other talents and brainpower: offering high flexibility and tailoring to the client's needs. This also includes acquiring new knowledge whenever needed for a project or subcontracting parts of a project when required.
